Carbon steel wire (also known as high-strength steel wire) is made from high-quality high-carbon steel coils by Soxhletizing, pickling, copper-plating or phosphating and then cold-drawn. Carbon steel wire is made of 80 steel, whose carbon content is 0.7% to 0.9%.
